The Directors for the Lower Brushy Creek WCID will hold a regular meeting 7:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7 in the conference room at the Taylor Chamber of Commerce. This meeting is a combination of the July and August regular meetings.
Directors are expected to hear a report on the budget and tax rate for FY 24, along with a request to fund five new rainfall/water level gauges to be installed on high-hazard structures in the district.
The board will hold a Tax Rate Public Hearing 7 p.m. Wed, Sept. 6 at the Taylor Public Library with a regular board meeting set for 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11. The second and final readings of budget and tax order will be conducted during this meeting.
