District staff has recommended a 2-cents per $100 valuation tax rate to support the FY21 budget.

Over all income to the district is projected to be $2.77 million, which is $594,754 less than the previous year, a drop of more than 18%.

The total income for FY 21 includes:

• $465,000 in anticipated tax revenues, $25,545 more than the previous year, largely due to new construction within the WCID.

• $2,307,900 in grants from the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board.

• $1,800 in interest income.

Overall expenses are projected to be $2,738,300 which is $623,135 or 19.21% less than last years approved budget.
